Painted portraits are created from your photos with the highest quality materials using pastels, on Clairefontaine Pastelmat.  

Commissioning a portrait is really very simple and I’m always happy to answer any questions. Just contact me through this website or via my Facebook page.  I aim to capture the true character and personality of your beloved pet dog, pet cat, horse or other animal in my paintings that you can enjoy and cherish for a lifetime.  

Portraits start at £125 for an 8″ x 12″ painting of one subject, including a mount and delivery. Please contact me regarding the size you require.

In order to secure your slot, a high-resolution photo (see below) must be received and approved at the time of booking, together with a £50 non-refundable deposit to confirm your place in my diary with the balance being payable upon completion. To ensure the best results for your portrait it is important that I can work from clear reference photos that show your pet’s best side as eyes, fur colour etc. Therefore I will need a clear, in focus, preferably digital photograph of your pet. Ideally the photo should be taken in daylight to obtain the clearest image. You may already have a favourite photo of your pet but it may not always be of a high enough quality to use for this purpose.  If you’re not sure if yours are suitable, just ask. If you supply photographs that you didn’t take yourself, please ensure that you have permission from the photographer for me to use them

Its very simple. I will need a selection of good clear photos, we agree on a date and you pay the deposit. I’ll confirm your slot and your portrait as agreed and provide a rough estimate of when the portrait will be completed – depending upon size, this will be approx 4 weeks from when I start your painting. Everything will be set out in writing and I’ll keep you updated every step of the way.

The prices shown below include your unique portrait, which will be mounted ready to frame, and delivery
