WILDLIFE

I  love to paint wildlife, particularly big cats. For me, its the detail of the fur, and the glint in the eyes to create a realistic, believable painting. I spend many hours on the finer details, hoping to create a realistic painting, where the animal comes alive

I use primarily Pastels on Pastelmat, although in the past I have used acrylics and am currently trying to become proficient in coloured pencil drawings also. 

Drawing a treasured pet is a priviledge, particularly if the pet is no longer with us, a pet portrait is a special and deeply personal gift and I take every care to capture the essence of the pet, to bring the painting to life

Ive re-produced some of my favourite paintings as Greetings Cards.  They can be bought singly, or as a pack of 6 wildlife cards.

All are printed on smooth 300gsm card and are wrapped in biodegradeable cellophane, including a white envelope
